About The Position

What You Will Do
Designs, creates, and executes manual test cases per technical specifications for testing integrated applications and software products.
Reports defects in the defect tracking system when test cases or functionality fail.
Communicates steps and outcome of test case execution upon opening a defect in the defect tracking system.
Monitors assigned defects for additional information or retesting.
Closes defects in the defect tracking system when defects are corrected and meet the stated requirement.
Completes all tasks assigned in the test planning phase of products, enhancements, or projects
Participates in project meetings to review project requirements, use cases, and test planning activities.
Works with programming and other teams on changes and updates to programs
Participates in project and product meetings as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3.50 GPA or higher is required
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Nice To Haves

• Previous office experience is preferred
• Novice level understanding of software development life cycle and SCRUM project management preferred
