About The Position

As the Quality Assurance Inspector with PPG Aerospace, you will be responsible for inspection of components and products to ensure they adhere to specifications and drawings. This is an onsite position located in our Sylmar, CA. Facility. You will report to the Quality Engineering Manager.

Requirements

• US Person
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Use various measuring devices, such as watt and voltmeters, micrometers, lineal, basic electrical and height gauges, in making precision measurements
• Check components and products, at various stages of completion, and during shipments of parts, materials and similar items for adherence to specifications, drawings and purchase orders using precision measuring devices
• Reject items that do not meet quality standards, referring borderline decisions to Inspector
• Create NCMR report and stamp paperwork for confirmation and make note of the defects
• Inspection of hardware used in window assemblies
