About The Position

Compunetics, Inc. is a manufacturer of state-of-the-art rigid and flexible circuit boards producing products from fast turn high tech multilayer circuit board prototypes to non-traditional, high density and high-speed interconnects which serve a wide variety of customer requirements. Compunetics is seeking an individual to perform visual & dimensional inspection of printed circuit boards.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, Associates degree in technical field a plus
• Experience in quality control or manufacturing preferred
• Experience in the electronics industry a plus
• Familiarity with measuring instruments and manufacturing tools
• Familiarity with PLC 600 or J-STD industry specs
• Familiarity with quality control and inspection
• Familiarity with GD&T
• Ability and proficiency working while viewing through a microscope
• Basic computer skills required (Excel/Word)
• Manual dexterity
• As a condition of employment, candidates MUST be a US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual & dimensional inspection of printed circuit boards
• Prepare, evaluate, and report on printed circuit board cross sections
• Generate quality reports and certificates of conformance based on inspection results of manufactured printed circuit boards
• Participate in various Quality Department tasks such as administration of calibration and quality audits
