Great Plains Manufacturing, is seeking a 1st Shift Quality Assurance Inspector for our Salina Facility. This position works Monday-Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., plus overtime on Fridays as required. - Ability to read and understand engineering prints
- Demonstrate working familiarity with precision measuring tools
- Ability to communicate accurately both written and verbal

- Highly self-motivated with great interpersonal skills
- Previous experience as a QA Inspector in a manufacturing environment helpful
Responsibilities
- Review manufacturing processes throughout the facility to ensure a quality product
- Identify defective parts in each department and address as needed
- Troubleshoot causes of defects and make recommendations for changes
- Inspect equipment to confirm proper welds, paint and fasteners
- Interpret Engineering blueprints to ensure product meets specifications
- Follow all Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wear prescribed safety and protective equipment
- Other duties may be assigned that require other qualifications, physical demands, and/or work environment.
