A day in the life As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will test Amazon-scale enterprise business systems serving hundreds of thousands associates worldwide. You will also continuously learn new technologies, the latest industry techniques, and gets to use the newest AWS tools. About the team Workforce Solutions (WS) empowers our customers by providing integrated, people-focused solutions that streamline hiring processes for WW Stores, AWS, Devices, and Talent Acquisition. Requirements

  • 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
  • Experience in automation testing
  • Experience in manual testing
  • Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
  • Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
  • Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality

Responsibilities

  • Understanding how all elements of the High Volume Hiring system work together and developing QA approaches that fit the overall strategy
  • Develop and execute manual & automated tests and test plans
  • Efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our products
  • Finding, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
  • Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
  • Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented
  • Ensure the highest quality product delivery, working with a team of quality engineering professionals
  • Evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess product quality
