Position Summary To assist the transformation of QA, Field Service, Production and Supplier data into actionable insights that drive product reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement. This role will centralize data collection, automate reporting, and support root cause analysis using advanced analytics.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in a QA department within a manufacturing environment
• HEAVY EXCEL WORK -most of your time will be spent here.
• Proven expertise in (pivot tables, macros, advanced formulas)
• Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with AI tools for data analysis and process optimization
• Familiarity with root cause analysis tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto Analysis, or FMEA
• Understanding of data governance and Quality frameworks

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards in Power BI to track: Out-of-Service (OOS) events and repair times
• Failure trends by system/component
• Warranty durations and service part costs
• KPI tracking of the Cost Of Poor Quality data (COPQ)
• Use Excel for advanced data manipulation, trend analysis, and reporting
• Apply analytical techniques to identify patterns, predict failures, and optimize QA processes
• Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Engineering and Field Service teams to ensure data integrity and usability
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through data-driven insights
• Maintain and update data dictionaries and metadata for consistency
