About The Position

The Quality Assurance (QA) Coordinator conducts case reads, supports direct service supervisors with data management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Three years child welfare directive service experience.
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must pass a drug screen, MVR, Criminal History and DFPS History Check, Centralized Background Check Unit Texas Health and Human Services Eligibility and any background checks deemed to be necessary.
  • FBI Fingerprint Check
  • Lifting requirements 50 lbs.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, acceptable driving and reliable transportation.
  • Mandated Reporter.
  • Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent computer, filing, and organizational skills; as well as an understanding of principles and practices of office procedures and business operating systems.
  • General knowledge of HIPAA and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Must understand child welfare and state system.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Display strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the State.
  • Handles multiple priorities.
  • Independent discretion/decision making within the scope and responsibility of the position.
  • Manages emotions and can make decisions under pressure.
  • Manages stress appropriately.
  • Works near others and/or in a distracting environment.
  • Understands and practices Universal Precautions

Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining the PI spreadsheets
  • Assists the above in action plans.
  • Completes customer satisfaction survey data entry.
  • Assists in the analysis of customer service satisfaction results.
  • Prepares various monthly PI reports for offices, including reports for the PI summary.
  • Prepares agenda and meeting materials for corporate residential PI.
  • Facilitate meetings in absence of Director QA/PI.
  • Creates additional graphs for A&D Report
  • Compile 16 and older list.
  • Assist with providing PI for any grants or new programs.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client’s personal and health information and agency propriety data, adhering to HIPPA regulations and company policies.
  • Implements Saint Francis Ministries policies and follow directives as required.
  • Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), rules personnel policies, and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state and local rules, statutes, regulations, and contractual terms.
  • Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels.
  • Ensures client’s rights are protected.
  • Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Will participate in a minimum of 40 hours in-service education per year.
