About The Position

We are seeking an Assistant Vice President who will report directly to the Vice President. Currently, we require a skilled Software Quality Assurance Lead with demonstrated leadership abilities and excellent communication skills. Candidates should possess substantial domain expertise in Payments and have a comprehensive understanding of test management processes. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead a team through all phases of the Application Testing Lifecycle, which includes collaborating effectively with development, business, and other application teams. You will join Global Technology Services, a team essential to the company's leadership in Custodial services and Payments Technology.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in High value payments across 2 or more markets such as CHAPS/Target2/Lynx/RITS/CBPR+/CHATS/CHIPS/Fedwire
  • Excellent knowledge of ISO20022 messaging and guidelines
  • Experience in Payments Clearing and Settlement process
  • Understanding of the E2E back office payments landscape across Core Banking, Accounting, Reconciliation, Sanctions Screening, Regulatory Reporting, Risk Management etc.
  • Experience in working in large scale projects with teams across multiple locations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Computer Science
  • 12 years+
  • Certification in Agile frameworks/SWIFT/Payments/Capital Markets
  • JIRA, Automation test tools such as Selenium/Tricentis Tosca

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Business SMEs and Application Vendor teams to understand Business requirements for ongoing projects, upgrades and enhancements
  • Develop Test Strategy to provide adequate test coverage for the agreed scope covering critical business functions and list test approach
  • Develop Test Plan with test milestones such as Functional/Regression/Integration/E2E testing to ensure alignment with the Industry milestones/Program roadmap
  • Work closely with Product Owner and other stakeholders for Sprint planning and execution in a fast paced Agile environment
  • Oversee test execution and provide key Quality Assurance metrics to Program managers and highlight risks/issues/challenges proactively
  • Manage and prioritize defects with Application development team/Vendors for fixes
  • Provide guidance on Automation strategy for Functional/Regression/Integration testing.
  • Maintain repository of Test artifacts throughout the test lifecycle, perform internal review and participate in SDLC Process Audits
  • Participate in Release management functions and provide sign off confirming that the final solution meets end user requirements
  • Be able to work with tight deadlines and under pressure to meet Industry wide / Organizational deadlines
