About The Position

Peraton is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst specialized in Forms and Workflow Validation. In this role, you will be the final line of defense in ensuring our electronic forms and automated workflows function flawlessly. You will focus on verifying that complex data routing, field-level validations, and backend integrations align perfectly with business requirements to provide a seamless user experience. This position is remote but prefer candidates be local to Columbus, OH. Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities: Your daily impact will involve the following core activities: Test Execution & Documentation: Execute comprehensive functional test cases using Automation and AI technologies and meticulously document results to ensure high-quality software delivery. Workflow & Data Validation: Verify end-to-end workflow paths, ensuring that logic-based routing and conditional data behavior trigger correctly under various scenarios. Regression Testing: Support ongoing regression cycles to ensure new updates or patches do not negatively impact existing form functionalities. Defect Management: Identify, log, and track software discrepancies. Perform rigorous retesting of resolved defects to confirm permanent fixes. Integration Support: Collaborate with the development team to validate that form data integrates correctly with downstream systems and databases.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience or a Masters degree and 3 years of experience or an Associates degree and 7 years of experience or a High School diploma and 9 years of experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
  • 3–6 years of dedicated Quality Assurance experience with a focus on functional, integration, and AI driven automated testing..
  • Experience in formal test case execution and the use of defect tracking software (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or ALM).
  • Strong ability to use SQL queries to verify data integrity and backend processing.
  • A sharp eye for detail and the ability to anticipate "edge case" scenarios in user-facing forms.
  • Proven ability to test complex logic trees and multi-step business processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Local to the Columbus, OH area.
  • Current or former experience with State or Local Government agencies is highly preferred.
  • Direct experience supporting Ohio State Departments.
