About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst. This position develops and executes test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and ensuring software meets quality standards. Requirements

2 years with BS/BA; 0 years with MS/MA; 6 years with HS diploma
Must be a US Citizen
Experience in quality assurance job roles
Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance
A meticulous approach is crucial for catching defects.
Needed to understand complex systems and identify issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication is essential for reporting bugs and collaborating with teams.
Experience with defect tracking systems like Jira is often required.
Experience with Agile and Scrum required

Nice To Haves

Experience working within Military Health environments is a plus
BA/BS (4 year) degree in and IT or math related field/ or equivalent years of experience (preferred)
Basic knowledge of testing tools like Selenium or Postman is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform various tests, including functional, regression, and integration, to identify defects.
Document bugs found during testing in a bug-tracking system (e.g., Jira) and provide clear steps to reproduce them.
Write, maintain, and update test cases and test scripts.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand requirements and verify bug fixes.
Contribute to creating test plans, test cases, and other software documentation.
Assist in identifying opportunities to enhance the QA process and potentially automate testing.
