About The Position

Requirements

3 years translating business <\/div> requirements or policy <\/div> documentation into test cases and <\/div> scenarios.
3 years building test cases and <\/div> scenarios into test systems
Document and support <\/div> development of test <\/div> scenarios/cases and the execution <\/div> of testing activities.
Should be able to communicate <\/div> and publish status reports of all <\/div> open issues and gaps found during <\/div> test phase and articulate the details <\/div> to the Development teams.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, <\/div> or related field. Years of experience can <\/div> substitute for formal education.

Nice To Haves

5+ years large enterprise or e - <\/div> business systems experience.
Deep knowledge of healthcare <\/div> operations (preferably Medicaid), <\/div> business processes
Proficient in Atlassian tool suite <\/div> including JIRA and Confluence
Prior experience working in a <\/div> standard SDLC (waterfall <\/div> methodology) & in an AGILE <\/div> delivery.
Technical and/or Project <\/div> Management certifications from <\/div> recognized sources are desirable.

Responsibilities

Responsible for performing tests on technical solutions to isolate and solve issues.
Initiates tests, analyzes results, and finds solutions to technical problems.
Develop test plans, QA and/or User Acceptance Testing processes and test <\/div> cases for product management and software development teams.
Design and support user interface testing application and regression testing <\/div> software.
Test software applications for reliability and stability.
Implement testing programs to perform quality assurance on technical <\/div> applications including negative testing and usability.
Lead projects to perform quality assessments that expose security flaws, reveal <\/div> defects and identify areas of optimization.
Create quality assurance documentation and reports as required
Adhere to established software testing governance policies, best practices and <\/div> guidelines and recommend improvements
Perform reviews, walkthroughs, or inspections and adhere to established <\/div> governance standards.
