About The Position

At FIS, we are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking individual to join our team in a high-profile Quality Assurance role. This position is pivotal in applying and leading Quality Assurance methodologies to deliver software solutions for the Global Financial Industry. You will take the lead QA role for multiple clients, collaborating closely with the production support team to triage and verify issue resolutions. Additionally, you will work with our offshore team to automate test plans, ensuring that these plans are adaptable and reusable for future clients. The Modern Banking Platform, which is FIS's latest core banking platform, is cloud-based and utilizes microservices, interfacing with nearly all of FIS's ancillary solutions for large financial institutions. With significant clients already signed on to run this platform, the opportunities for growth in this area are substantial. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of automated test cases, including API, UI, and batch tests. You will engage in both manual and automated testing according to project deliverables within Agile teams. Your responsibilities will also include developing, maintaining, and executing manual tests and automated test scripts, as well as maintaining complete and detailed test results data. You will be expected to open defect records for all defects identified during testing, ensuring that all high and urgent priority defects are resolved before new release implementations. Continuous learning and proficiency in testing methodologies will be essential as you work as a member of the Production Support teams.
