If you’re passionate about making a meaningful difference, we’d love to hear from you. The Role The Quality Assurance II has a solid foundation in software testing and a strong drive for quality. As a mid-level QA professional, they play a key role in planning, designing, and executing manual and automated tests to ensure the functionality and stability of our public safety applications. They collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality across the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience and training.
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in quality assurance or relevant testing role.
  • Proficient in writing test cases, executing tests, and logging bugs
  • Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Postman, etc.
  • Experience with testing API’s, web applications, and/or mobile applications.
  • Experience with using test management and bug tracking tools such as Gitlab, Jira, TestRail
  • Experience workign in Agile devepment environments
  • Exposure to CI/CD tooling, such as Gitlab, GitHub Actions, etc
  • Ability to approach problems methodically and seek solutions with minimal guidance.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies, tools, and methodologies.
  • Clearance: Ability to pass a criminal background check for CJIS security requirements.
  • Part 107 Drone Pilot license

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans based on product requirements and user storiesEvaluate that test case acceptance criteria has been met.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure product quality throughout the release cycle
  • Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide feedback to stakeholders
  • Maintain and enhance test scripts, frameworks, and automation suites
  • Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to improving QA best practices
  • Performs other related duties as assigned to support team objectives, departmental needs, and overall organizational priorities.
