The Quality Assurance Administrator plays a key role in sustaining and strengthening the organization’s quality assurance programs. This position emphasizes data-driven analysis, root cause identification, research, and practical problem-solving to support regulatory compliance, quality assurance, accreditation standards, operational effectiveness, and continuous improvement. The Quality Assurance Administrator works collaboratively across departments to evaluate complex quality assurance matters, support quality-focused initiatives, and translate findings into actionable insights aligned with organizational strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Quality, Compliance, Business, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered; five (5) years of relevant quality assurance, or regulatory experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Excel, including advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities.
  • Proven ability to identify root causes and apply analytical thinking to complex quality challenges.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and manage multiple initiatives in a regulated environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting CARF accreditation or similar regulatory/accreditation frameworks preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and support quality assurance activities, including audits, reviews, monitoring efforts, and performance metric tracking.
  • Support CARF accreditation efforts through preparation, documentation review, monitoring activities, and follow-up actions.
  • Analyze complex data sets using advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data validation, dashboards) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Identify root causes of quality assurance issues, data integrity gaps, incidents, and process failures using structured analytical and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), service-level agreements (SLAs), and regulatory benchmarks, and provide early warning analysis for potential compliance or performance risks.
  • Investigate data discrepancies, reporting variances, and audit findings, and coordinate corrective actions, as needed, to address root causes.
  • Develop and document standardized reporting methodologies, definitions, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and reliability to support efficient reporting and analysis.
  • Assisting with quality-focused projects in collaboration with cross-functional partners, ensuring deliverables align with quality assurance requirements and strategic objectives.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives related to quality assurance and operational improvement.
  • Assist with quality assurance activities related to service expansion into new locations, ensuring alignment with internal standards and external regulatory expectations.
  • Monitor quality improvement initiatives to support timely implementation and sustained outcomes.
  • Prepare reports, analyses, and supporting documentation for leadership, regulators, and accreditation bodies.
  • Maintain current knowledge of applicable regulations, contracts, accreditation standards, and internal policies.
  • Participates in the testing and validation of new system releases, enhancements, and process changes to confirm alignment with compliance requirements, data integrity standards, and operational workflows prior to deployment.
