About The Position

The Kinetic Group is a world leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of small caliber ammunition under the iconic brands B&P, CCI, Federal Premium, Fiocchi, HEVI-Shot, Remington and Speer. We have domestic ammunition manufacturing facilities in Minnesota, Idaho, Arkansas, and Missouri, and service law enforcement, government agencies and sporting enthusiasts throughout the world. Today, The Kinetic Group is a part of the Ammo+ division of The Czechoslovak Group (CSG), which holds a diverse portfolio of companies in the defense, security, automotive, aerospace and rail industries. As the Quality Associate (Gunner), you will be responsible for measuring and controling quality levels of both in-process components and finished product by utilizing existing gages, computerized data collection equipment, ballistic test equipment and personal computers. Provide technical support and written reports to Quality, Manufacturing, Technical Services, and Product Development staff. SHIFT Q: 7:00pm-7:00am Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other Thursday plus OT as needed. Training will be held on 1st shift

Requirements

  • Familiarity with Firearms
  • No disciplinary action at a Report of Conference level or above in the last 12 months
  • To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national; (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (a/k/a green card holder); (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. Nice To Haves

  • Post High School Education.
  • Experience in the product lines where the opening exists.
  • Experience, Knowledge, and Understanding of current inspection/ballistics test methods, procedures, and equipment.
  • Understanding of SPC methods.
  • Data Entry experience.
  • Experience in a quality control/product validation position.
