About The Position

As the Quality Associate (Gunner), you will be responsible for measuring and controling quality levels of both in-process components and finished product by utilizing existing gages, computerized data collection equipment, ballistic test equipment and personal computers. Provide technical support and written reports to Quality, Manufacturing, Technical Services, and Product Development staff. SHIFT Q: 7:00pm-7:00am Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and every other Thursday plus OT as needed. Training will be held on 1st shift

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work well with other people.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Accurate documentation skills.
  • Computer skills in Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to make difficult decisions.
  • Excellent Safety Record.
  • Familiarity with Firearms
  • No disciplinary action at a Report of Conference level or above in the last 12 months

Nice To Haves

  • Post High School Education.
  • Experience in the product lines where the opening exists.
  • Experience, Knowledge, and Understanding of current inspection/ballistics test methods, procedures, and equipment.
  • Understanding of SPC methods.
  • Data Entry experience.
  • Experience in a quality control/product validation position.
