Internship Type: This is an unpaid internship with variable hours and a variety of learning opportunities. Essential Intern functions: The Quality and Risk internship will be tailored to match the intern’s skills and help in developing new skills in the hospital administration field. Quality Improvement Science using PDSA, RCA and other improvement tools Risk mitigation Regulatory and accreditation compliance Multi disciplinary committee structures Exposure to the Board appointed oversight committee of Quality improvement and Risk Management Institutional Review Board process and compliance Standardization of care across the network Data entry, mining and analysis Evaluation of performance in key metrics Education of Quality and Risk principles
