Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Food safety certification or proven experience working with global food safety standards
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (RCA, 5 why, Fishbone)

Responsibilities

  • Lead NOD's effort to continually improve our Quality and Food Safety system.
  • Create and promote a culture of Quality in the organization.
  • Provide leadership and development to the laboratory technician team.
  • Develop and lead a comprehensive food safety program by team members and managers, including food safety training initiatives, written programs, and standards tailored to the work of individual departments and designed to at least meet Federal and State food safety requirements.
  • Design and implement a PDS system, including active PDS evaluation for each team member with regular feedback sessions between team member and manager, overall grid rating for each team member, and a 360-degree feedback program.
  • Identify the #1 Skill to be developed by each team member.
  • Exceed expectations across all customer segments, including external and internal customers, by anticipating needs and addressing requests and complaints to the satisfaction of all customers.
  • Lead ongoing efforts to improve products, services, or processes, evaluating them for efficiency, effectiveness, and flexibility.
  • Focus on US TTB compliance at manufacturing facilities.
