About The Position

The Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of products and services by conducting thorough testing and analysis. This role involves identifying defects, suggesting improvements, and collaborating with various teams to enhance overall efficiency. The Quality Analyst will also help shape quality assurance processes and standards. Note: This position is an initial 12-month contract.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Experience testing in an agile environment leveraging a variety of testing tools
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, JSON, XML, CSS or HTML is an asset
  • Proficiency in testing in an API environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience testing CRM systems is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive testing to identify defects
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Perform manual and automated testing to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of products
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and standards with ongoing optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and customer support, to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle
  • Communicate test results, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders
  • Analyze data and generate reports on quality metrics and trends
  • Identify root causes of defects and recommend corrective actions
  • Monitor and track quality assurance metrics, such as defect density and test coverage
  • Document quality assurance processes and procedures
