About The Position

The primary responsibilities of the Community Based Child and Family Counselor – QMHP- C is to initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct clinical interventions with assigned youth and their families. All service plans will be developed via a strength based approach, using a comprehensive wrap-around model that engages the primary caregiver(s), as well as the Youth. Position offers flexible hours, a competitive salary, and supervision for licensure for LCSW-supervisees. Work requires employee to be out in the community, homes, and schools. This is not an office based job.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human services and 1 year of experience working with children in a clinical setting.
  • QMHP-C certificate
  • Experience working with children and families in a clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite and general computer knowledge: experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation, driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.
