About The Position

SAIC is seeking an Quality Assurance Associate in Bedford, IN to support the U.S. Navy in Radar Restoration. Job Description: The candidate must be able to conduct quality inspections, audits, and assessments on radar systems, components, and supporting processes to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, industry standards, and contractual requirements. Develop, maintain, and execute Quality Assurance (QA) plans, test protocols, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams (e.g., systems, hardware, and software) to resolve quality issues and support product improvement initiatives. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) to address non-conformances or system issues. Monitor and document manufacturing and testing processes to ensure consistent quality practices are followed. Conduct supplier quality assessments and support supply chain quality initiatives as needed. Ensure compliance to ISO 9001, AS9100, or other applicable quality management system standards. Participate in design reviews and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to provide quality input during the development lifecycle of radar systems. Prepare quality documentation including reports, dashboards, and metrics to communicate quality performance to stakeholders. Support testing and validation activities for radar systems to ensure operational efficiency in various environments.
