About The Position

Under supervision of the Fidelity Manager Supervisor, the Fidelity Manager of Adult Outpatient exemplifies service excellence by providing feedback, reporting on clinically appropriate fidelity practices, and auditing the full array of services included with the adult behavioral health programs. The Adult Outpatient Fidelity Manager is responsible for fidelity oversight of service provision and documentation as it pertains to: Medicaid billing rules, TAC requirements, UM guidelines, CCBHC standards, evidenced based practices, contract requirements, alignment with LifePath Systems mission, values, policies and procedures. This role utilizes audit tools, reporting, and data analysis to expand oversight and knowledge of holistic behavioral healthcare. Evaluating how providers promote choice and autonomy through a strength-based model is necessary to assist management with providing support to the workforce. Integrity is necessary to gauge provider adherence to the Health and Human Services Commission, Texas Administrative Code, contracts, grants, and LifePath Systems policies and procedures. Documenting and providing feedback on documentation which meets and does not meet fidelity standards is expected. Working independently and collaboratively with Adult Outpatient leadership to foster better outcomes for individuals served and community partners, to facilitate improvement in measurable ways, is central to LifePath Systems mission to serve. The Adult Outpatient Fidelity Manager provides coaching and technical assistance to staff based on findings, completes regular chart audits, collaborates with Adult Outpatient leadership regarding audit findings, run scheduled reports, attend team meetings, attend external/internal audit meetings when applicable, and provide feedback on trends from a fidelity perspective within their respective programs. Fidelity Managers follow up to ensure the golden thread remains present throughout the electronic health record. Other duties and programs may be assigned to meet the needs of the program and individuals served. If Bilingual and receiving stipend, employee will be available to translate for other staff as needed and will utilize approved language in the provision of services as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field from a four-year accredited university OR Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience in the behavioral health field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Education and experience must meet TAC requirements for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
  • Must have at least 3 years of clinical experience in the treatment of individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders. If a shorter time the individual’s experience and aptitude to learn and perform role well quickly will be taken into consideration.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver license.
  • Knowledge and experience in providing case management, skills training, and symptom management services to individuals with mental illness.
  • Ability to assess individual needs, to coordinate services, and to communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of the social services system and the ability to connect individuals with appropriate services.
  • Ability to write clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to think clearly and logically to deal with potentially dangerous and/or emotional situations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working for a CCBHC highly preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
