THE POSITION: We are seeking a self-disciplined, well-coordinated, and persuasive professional. The position of QMHP/Clinical Support Specialist is part of a team, supervised by the Behavioral Health Supervisor in CK Behavioral Health, our behavioral health program. The position engages directly with children, youth, and their parents using nationally recognized, evidence-based and research supported practices to increase well-being and promote positive outcomes. Our program leadership provides training and ongoing coaching to certify Clinical Support Specialists as Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP). The ideal candidate must be self-disciplined, thorough, and value getting it right. In addition to direct contact with our clients the position is responsible for documentation and adherence to predetermined protocols, policies, and procedures with a high degree of accuracy. Successful candidates must possess a minimum of a bachelors degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field as specified in the Texas Administrative Code for QMHP qualifications. Also, candidates should possess basic therapeutic skills, verbal, and written communication skills, and organizational skills. Also, candidates should have experience and training in working with individuals with severe and persistent mental Illness, children with severe emotional disturbances, and delivery of services based on curriculum.

Requirements
