Growing together. ECAS has a vibrant training program, made up of QMHPs, pre-licensed masters-level associates, and postdoctoral residents. We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic doctoral students in Clinical or Counseling Psychology Ph.D. programs who have a Master’s degree to join our team in our Evidence-based Treatment (EBT) track. QMHPs in the EBT track will develop competency in evidence-based treatment of Anxiety, OCD, and PTSD, with an emphasis on exposure-based treatments (specifically, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention). Our program provides QMHPs with intentional and high-quality training in the gold-standard treatments for our specialty areas while also integrating how societal and cultural factors shape and impact mental health. We are currently recruiting for our 2026-2027 cohort year. Eugene Center for Anxiety and Stress is a training-oriented, specialty behavioral health clinic that provides evidence-based, inclusive, and multiculturally sensitive treatment and assessment services to the Eugene-Springfield community. As a specialty therapy clinic, we are particularly interested in clinicians with experience treating anxiety, OCD, and PTSD from a third-wave CBT approach and a background utilizing exposure therapy. Our assessment clinic provides opportunities for psychological or neuropsychological assessment across the lifespan, with a range of referral questions (Autism and ADHD being the most commonly requested evaluations). September 2026 start date based on applicant’s schedule and needs. Externship requires a minimum one-year commitment. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field
  • Current enrollment in a Ph.D. program in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology
  • 2+ years of providing individual therapy at the graduate level for the EBT track

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing evidence-based treatment for Anxiety, OCD, or PTSD for the EBT track
  • Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs)

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual therapy to adults seeking treatment for anxiety, OCD, and PTSD using evidence-based practices, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy
  • Timely and accurately document all client interactions as dictated by law, ethical standards, board requirements and ECAS policy and practices
  • Participates in creating an overall positive atmosphere with other staff and clients
  • Attends and actively participates in clinical supervision, group consultation, didactics, team meetings, and other meetings as required by position, demonstrating preparation, timeliness, and professionalism
  • Demonstrate a willingness to incorporate supervisor and leadership feedback to continuously improve standards of client care
  • Accurately track and document hours
  • Maintain a full client caseload and additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Demonstrate interest in strengthening multicultural orientation and cultural comfort, and engaging in multicultural opportunities during and outside of clinical work
