Under close supervision, the QHSE Advisor I will be responsible for handling the day-to-day operations of the Health, Safety, and Environmental programs. The QHSE Advisor I will inspect working conditions of all Business Unit operations to ensure compliance with the occupational safety and health regulations and will make recommendations to management team when identifying gaps or deficiencies. This position requires the person to work in both office locations and outdoors in all types of weather conditions, including precipitation, cold / heat, high wind, and turbulent conditions. The QHSE Advisor I will be regularly exposed to the typical conditions of the local area where operations occur. The QHSE Advisor I must work with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others including coworkers and third parties. They must be able to work closely with others and under time-sensitive deadlines including potential emergency response situations. They must be willing to work extended schedules that will include working days; and frequent nights, weekends and holidays.
