About The Position

Eftec is a global leader in engineered materials and application systems for bonding, coating, sealing and damping for the automotive industry. Our Taylor, MI location is seeking a quality control supervisor for the afternoon shift. In this role, you will ensure that our products meet or exceed our customer’s specification and expectations.

Requirements

• 3- 5 years of quality control lab testing experience.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel

Nice To Haves

• ISO9001 and/or IATF16949 quality systems.
• ASQ quality control supervisor certification
• Six sigma green or yellow belt.
• Basic statistics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the efficiency of the QC lab, assuring that employees are properly trained, organized and that quality control testing is done properly.
• Assist with quality control testing when necessary.
• Analyze data to create reports, highlighting inspection performance, identifying “out of control” or out of specification” trends or situations.
• Investigate situations where product does not meet expectations.
• Be the voice of the customer and quality on the manufacture floor by performing audits and attending shift meetings.
• Other projects and responsibilities as directed by the Quality Director.
