About The Position

We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector (2nd Shift) to perform in-process and final inspections of printed circuit boards. This role is responsible for verifying product quality, completing First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in PCB or electronics manufacturing inspection (final inspection preferred).
  • Knowledge of flex and rigid-flex printed circuits.
  • Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-6012, IPC-6013, IPC-A-610, J-STD-001).
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, SOPs, and technical documents in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to perform detailed visual inspections using magnification tools for extended periods.
  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods during the shift.
  • Manual dexterity for handling small components and boards.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Review SOPs and travelers to verify lot numbers, panel quantities, and completion of prior operations.
  • Perform visual and mechanical in-process and final inspections of PCBs.
  • Inspect holes, thickness, markings, and conductive patterns using inspection equipment.
  • Identify nonconformances and communicate issues to the team leader or supervisor.
  • Stamp and date travelers and maintain accurate inspection records.
  • Complete FAI documentation (AS9102, PPAP, and standard FAI forms).
  • Prepare quality documentation including C of C, ionic test records, serial logs, yield reports, and NCRs.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, IPC standards, and military specifications.
  • Support MRB activities and internal/external audits.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
