About The Position

Under general supervision, the QC Operator performs Quality Control tests as required by sampling instructions to evaluate all finished products. This role also involves calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory instrumentation as necessary, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree of Science
0-2 years in a laboratory environment.
Ability to multitask.
Superior communication (verbal & written), ability to motivate, prioritize, and organize in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to address issues, follow up, and implement solutions as required.

Nice To Haves

Chemistry preferred
Knowledge of Analytical Chemistry preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform Quality Control tests on finished products according to established procedures.
Review all analysis results with the supervisor, and grade all finished lots when testing is complete.
Enter all data into the laboratory database system.
Retain all finished samples and keep the retain sample room well organized and clean.
Train laboratory personnel as required.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
