With our passion, creativity, and innovation, “We capture what moves”. We have an exciting and immediate opening for a Quality Control Lab Technician II. This position is responsible for the testing of materials for both internal and external customers. The main duty of the Quality Control Lab Technician II is to inspect finished goods, work in process and raw materials (new and those for extensions) for general workmanship and tolerances per specifications. Interact and communicate effectively with production, planning, customer service, and other support groups as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree within a science related field preferred; Associate’s Degree with equivalent experience in a laboratory or similar industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard evaluation and testing of batch samples from production and R&D
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Be dependable, ability to multi-task, productive and high-quality workmanship
• Learn and follow established protocols
• Maintain accurate records of results
• Perform regular lab verifications and calibrations
• Interact with Production personnel to ensure successful products
• Assist in Environmental testing
• GC-GC/MS experience - sample preparation and data analysis
• Operate lab equipment: Refractive Index, Specific Gravity, Sensory, Data Analysis, Other lab equipment and testing as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management
