About The Position

Position Summary Job Summary: The person in this position performs required quality audits to ensure designed specifications and custom requirements are met. They are part of a response team that initiates an investigation when quality concerns arise on the production floor. Responsible to enter incident reports and work directly with quality engineers to coordinate resolutions.
Requirements
- One to three years technical experience
- Education: High School Graduate or equivalent
- Ability to properly read work orders, blueprints, and schematics
- Basic computer and windows skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Reads test schedules, work orders, and performance specifications to determine audit procedure
- Inspects completed assemblies for proper configuration in allotted time
- Records audit results and notes assembly deficiencies
- Tags and tallies all defective material
- Creates Quality Incident reports for nonconforming product
- Quarantines damaged and malfunctioning components
- Confers with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others regarding audit procedures and results to resolve problems
