About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to join our team. This role is ideal for entry to mid-level professionals who are passionate about ensuring software quality and delivering a seamless user experience. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to test applications and identify issues before release.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1–5 years of experience in software testing or QA
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Basic knowledge of manual testing techniques
• Familiarity with web and/or mobile application testing
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience with version control tools (Git)

Responsibilities

• Execute manual and/or automated test cases to validate software functionality
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Participate in test planning, test case creation, and test execution
• Perform regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing
• Ensure applications meet quality standards and business requirements
• Assist in maintaining test documentation and reports
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices
