Highly skilled QA Engineer that must think through all aspects of the project, able to create test cases, manually test, and create automated testing for features delivered. Our ideal candidate is a person that is technology minded who is looking to start a career in QA, Dev Ops or Software Engineering and willing to use this role as 1 to 3 year plan to get to that end goal. This is the entry level role that can then lead to three job family paths (QA Automation, DevOps Automation, Software Development.

Requirements

This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule. Up to three days per week may be worked remotely in accordance with the telecommuting policy.
Associates or Bachelors in Computer Science field is a plus
Experience testing REST API calls using Postman and using defect tracking tools such as JIRA
Strong Communication Skills Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, Azure DevOps, QA Automation tools mentioned above.
Understanding of development processes and the full software development lifecycle; strong knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Excellent process orientation, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the demonstrated ability to design effective business solutions.
Knowledge of Bankcard industry and its procedures

Responsibilities

Create and maintain tests for new and existing features of our products
Design and execute manual test cases and test scenarios
Tracks defects and help troubleshoot errors for both user interface and API users
Identify system malfunctions and register issues as bugs and user stories
Collaborate with Product Owner, product team, and vendors to ensure all bugs are completely fixed
Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, usability, or testing implications
Participates in Agile ceremonies, such as daily stand-ups, iteration planning, demos retrospectives, program increment planning, etc.
Design and execute automated test cases and test scenarios
Prepare and/or review end user and technical documentation generated for accuracy, completeness, and overall quality.
Document and report on trends/issues our users are experiencing to help identify potential solutions
Stay up-to-date with the latest QA tools
Other duties as requested
