Requirements

Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role in software quality assurance.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Nice To Haves

Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
Experience with mobile testing and responsive design.
Understanding of web services testing (API testing).
Previous experience in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Execute functional, regression, and performance tests to ensure software quality.
Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and provide feedback on technical specifications.
Perform root cause analysis of defects and recommend solutions.
Maintain and enhance automated testing frameworks.
Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met.
Document testing processes and results for compliance and future reference.
Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
Assist in the development of quality assurance metrics and reporting.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing.
