About The Position

Essential duties & responsibilities include the following: Conducts product sampling as well as chemical, microbiological & physical testing. Essential Functions: Basic comprehension of speaking, reading & writing in English Can write neatly and clearly on all paper-work. Show basic understanding of how to use and operate a computer (and take care of). Show comprehension and knowledge retention of all Brakebush Irving, Inc. training programs (specifically quality and food safety). Can be responsible for having, maintaining and cleaning assigned tools Can complete all required paperwork and database entries accurately and in a timely manner. Can communicate to direct report when there are deviations from the process or specification. Show basic understanding of mathematics (addition, subtraction, percentages, multiplication and/or division). Have a basic understanding of quality control (acceptable vs. unacceptable). Can place product on Hold and complete the Hold Tag process in an accurate and timely manner. Communicating with management when there are concerns with the following: Production Safety Employee Relations Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client.

Requirements

  • Display positive attitude and team work skills.
  • Must complete a pre-employment physical and drug test.
  • Must be able to stand and walk up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to frequently bend, lift and twist.
  • Must be able and available to work overtime as required.
  • Basic comprehension of speaking, reading & writing in English
  • Show basic understanding of how to use and operate a computer (and take care of).
  • Show comprehension and knowledge retention of all Brakebush Irving, Inc. training programs (specifically quality and food safety).
  • Show basic understanding of mathematics (addition, subtraction, percentages, multiplication and/or division).
  • Have a basic understanding of quality control (acceptable vs. unacceptable).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicants must have the legal authorization to work for any employer in the United States.
