QA Technician - Second Shift CBG

Requirements
- Ability to work on your feet in an active, warm, and sometimes noisy environment
- Comfort working near machinery, high temperatures, and oily surfaces (we’re a snack company)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and keep up the pace during 12-hour shifts
- Strong communication skills and a positive, “can-do” attitude
- A love for doing things the right way
Responsibilities
- Taste potatoes, chips, oil, and packaging like a snack detective
- Check salt and seasoning levels to make sure the flavor hits just right
- Inspect everything—from the color and crunch of the chip to the moisture and weight of the bags
- Keep equipment (and work areas) super clean and safe
- Identify and separate products that don’t meet standards—and help figure out why
- Use tools to verify quality standards (metal detectors, swabs, oxygen meters, etc.)
- Record everything you find clearly and neatly
- Communicate with operators and leaders when adjustments or fixes are needed
- Lend a hand with training or special samples when needed
