About The Position

Join Litehouse as a QA Technician I Location: Lowell, MI Shift: 3rd Shift, 11:00pm-7:30am As a QA Technician , you'll play a vital role in maintaining product quality and safety by performing in-process checks, inspections, and analytical tests. You'll help validate that our food safety systems-from HACCP to GMP -are running as they should. Requirements

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present information professionally in team settings and through email
  • Understanding of quality manufacturing principles such as HACCP, GMP, and SQF standards
  • Passion for process improvement and a sharp eye for detail
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Some knowledge of ROSS , NWA , SharePoint , or similar systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conducting line checks, first case checks, and beaker weights to ensure ongoing product quality
  • Reviewing and signing off on MVI jobs; pulling reports and adding jobs as needed
  • Performing analytical tests , such as titrations and specification reviews
  • Verifying sanitation procedures and environmental monitoring
  • Managing product hold status : tagging, logging, investigating, and updating systems (ERP/SharePoint)
  • Investigating customer complaints and pulling retain samples and production documentation
  • Documenting and reporting findings in accordance with food safety protocols
