About The Position

Position Summary: The Quality Assurance Technician - Compounding will ensure the quality and reliability of the processes and products by inspecting the compounding areas, equipment, and review documentation, document issues, and inform the appropriate people of the situation.

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing policies and procedures.
• Proficient knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
• Associate or technical degree OR equivalent years of experience in Quality-related disciplines.
• Bilingual Spanish-English.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing and/or Quality Control area.
• Working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR part 210 and 211 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct equipment inspections of tanks, pumps, homogenizers, and other equipment used in the manufacture of products
• Follow SOPs and approved written procedures and ensure compliance
• Conduct daily scale verification for compounding and pre-weigh scales. Record results and communicate non-compliance
• Ensure proper documentation of processes, product quality, and review.
• Help maintain and file all quality and process related documents.
• Communicate quality issues and concerns immediately with all relevant personnel to achieve timely and effective results.
• Inspect pallets for proper configuration and unit counts if requested.
• Conduct environmental swabbing according to SOP.
• Inspect the cleanliness of equipment to be used in the manufacturing of product.
