Job Summary Follows policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations | Follows and/ or develops, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes through standard procedures & systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 & AS9100 standards), quality audits/ review process, etc. Responsibilities are within the Quality Assurance Methods Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines Impact of the Role General Profile Requires working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical scientific or operational processes Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise Works within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods Works with a moderate degree of supervision Performs manual tasks according to established procedures Essential Functions Defines and specifies activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for materials, components, or products. Audits, monitors, and determines the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards. Reports and troubleshoots manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods Conducts tests on materials or samples to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.

Requirements

Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
Technical expertise.
Ability to identify and seek needed information.
Research skills.
Problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Associate's Degree
Discipline/Major: Technical training preferred
Calibration experience desired.
