Prioritize urgent QCRI tasks to maintain seamless operations. Calibrate GDLW equipment, complete designated in-house calibration tasks for specific measuring devices and equipment. Conduct GDLW facility audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Follows policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations | Follows and/ or develops, assures and maintains the quality of products and processes through standard procedures & systems (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 & AS9100 standards), quality audits/ review process, etc. Impact of the Role General Profile Requires working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical scientific or operational processes Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise Works within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods Works with a moderate degree of supervision Performs manual tasks according to established procedures Essential Functions Defines and specifies activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for materials, components, or products. Builds and maintains the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products. Identifies and addresses any issues with equipment performance. Audits, monitors, and determines the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards. Reports and troubleshoots manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods Conducts tests on materials or samples to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards.

Requirements

Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
Technical expertise.
Ability to identify and seek needed information.
Research skills.
Problem-solving skills.
Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.
Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
May need to stand for long periods of time.
Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.
May be requested to work a different shift.
Must be willing to work outside normal business hours as required.
This position is Safety-Sensitive.
