About The Position

As a Software QA Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of web applications, APIs, and CMS-based websites. You will collaborate with QA Managers, subject matter experts, developers, and cross-functional teams to ensure that all deliverables meet the highest quality standards. Your primary focus will be on leading QA activities, ensuring compliance with project requirements, and providing valuable insights to help improve our overall QA processes. In this role, you will: Create and review test planning and test cases for the projects, primarily using Jira and Xray or testRail. Perform functional test execution, bug tracking, and reporting to ensure thorough validation of project requirements.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Software QA, focused on web applications and digital platforms.
  • Strong hands-on experience using Jira (or similar tools such as ClickUp, Mantis, Confluence) for test management, bug tracking, and workflow coordination.
  • Proven experience creating, maintaining, and executing test cases and test plans using tools like TestRail, Xray, or TestMonitor .
  • Solid experience in test execution, bug reporting, tracking, and follow-up , ensuring full defect lifecycle management.
  • Experience performing smoke, regression, integration, acceptance, and exploratory testing .
  • Proven experience in mobile testing using tools such as BrowserStack, Appium, or similar platforms .
  • Knowledge of cross-browser and cross-device testing using BrowserStack, LambdaTest, Responsively App, or physical devices.
  • Strong experience in UI/UX validation , ensuring responsive design and consistency across devices and browsers.
  • Experience using Figma for design validation , aligning implementation with design specifications.
  • Solid experience in Accessibility Testing using tools such as VoiceOver, Axe DevTools, or equivalent .
  • Familiarity with WCAG 2.1 guidelines and accessibility best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban) , actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams , including developers, PMs, designers, and distributed/offshore stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills , with the ability to clearly convey technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Windows/MacOS : In-depth knowledge of operating systems such as Windows or MacOS.
  • BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline or related field or equivalent work experience in Software QA.

Nice To Haves

  • ISTQB Certification or other QA-related certifications are a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) , including CMS content workflows, site publishing, and QA testing on AEM-based platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the quality of deliverables based on functional requirements and design specifications.
  • Review and analyze project requirements and user stories to ensure full understanding.
  • Attend team meetings and stand-ups, providing status updates, feedback, and documenting key decisions.
  • Participate in team meetings and agile ceremonies, providing QA updates and feedback.
  • Develop and execute test cases aligned with project goals.
  • Prepare test data for manual and basic automated testing scenarios.
  • Perform functional and non-functional testing across web platforms, APIs, and CMS environments.
  • Conduct cross-browser and device testing using tools such as BrowserStack or Responsively App.
  • Execute smoke, regression, exploratory, and integration tests.
  • Log, track, and validate defects, ensuring proper resolution and retesting.
  • Maintain QA documentation including test cases and checklists.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with developers, PMs, and designers to ensure quality alignment.
  • Ask clarifying questions to reduce ambiguity and improve test coverage.
