About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist at Aisin Automotive Casting Tennessee Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive quality assurance tests, effectively judging and reporting results and effectively communicating abnormal results or equipment conditions

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and techniques.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in conducting tests, recording data, and documenting findings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and troubleshoot quality issues effectively.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and standards is preferrable.
  • Knowledge of MSA (Measurement System Analysis) and statistical skip lots.
  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.
  • Must be willing and available to travel to such locations and with such frequency as is necessary and desirable to meet business needs.
  • Must be able to operate a personal computer, telephone, and other office equipment.
  • Must perform job duties onsite, when necessary, except those duties that are customarily or by their nature performed offsite (for example, offsite customer visits).
  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work on multiple assignments at once, and complete assignments within deadline and budget (if applicable) with satisfactory quality.
  • Must be able to operate as an effective team member.
  • Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws and all company safety policies.
  • Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
  • Must be willing and available to work weekends and holidays as necessary and desirable to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Measuring Machine:
  • Working understanding of GD&T.
  • Operate CNC Bridge CMM (Mitutoyo & Helmel).
  • Edit & Create CNC Bridge CMM Programs (MCOSMOS, PolyWorks).
  • Perform CNC Bridge CMM Probe Calibrations(Mitutoyo & Helmel).
  • Calibration:
  • Working understanding of AIAG Calibration & MSA requirements.
  • Perform Gage Calibrations & Measurement Systems Analyses.
  • Utilize software (GageTrak) to track / manage gage inventory calibrations and MSA’s.
  • Coordinate 3rd Party Calibrations.
  • Track Calibration KPI’s.
  • Perform Gage Troubleshooting, Repair & Maintenance.
  • 3D Scanning:
  • Working understanding of GD&T.
  • Operate 3D Scanners (Keyence, ATOS).
  • Durability Testing:
  • Operate & Maintain Performance & Endurance Testers.
  • Operate Force / Tensile Tester.
  • Strong Mechanical Ability / Automotive understanding.
  • Receiving Inspection:
  • Operate CNC Bridge CMM (Mitutoyo & Helmel).
  • Operate Contour and Surface Trace Machines (Mitutoyo, Zeiss, & Mahr).
  • Operate Vision Systems (Keyence).
  • Operate Hardness Testers.
  • Operate Spring Testers.
