About The Position

Performs assigned QA/QC tasks on assigned projects. Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; conducts audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation.

Requirements

Interprets customer needs, assesses requirements and identifies solutions to non-standard requests.
Uses best practices and knowledge of internal/external business issues to improve products or services in own discipline.
Monitors and controls costs within own work. Solves moderately complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions
Manages own time to meet agreed targets; develops plans for short-term work activities in own area. Explains difficult issues and works to establish consensus
Promotes teamwork; coaches and guides others.
Typically has 5-20 years relevant experience
Ability to reach, stand, walk, use fingers, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see and perform repetitive motion.
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
Must be capable of traveling by car or airplane as needed to support business activities.

Responsibilities

Performs inspection and monitoring of project activities.
Performs sampling and testing activities. Documents inspection, monitoring, sampling and testing activities.
Monitors quality assurance activities to determine conformance with corporate policy and procedures.
Ensures the effective implementation of the quality program for assigned project tasks.
Provides periodic reports to the Director QA/QC, or the QA/QC Manager, on the effectiveness of the quality program for assigned tasks.
