About The Position

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products/services meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability, and performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement initiatives, resolve quality-related issues, and drive continuous process improvements throughout the organization.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field is strongly preferred.
Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role within manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
Hands-on experience with quality assurance tools and techniques (FMEA, SPC, 8D, etc.).
Experience with metrology and calibration systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

Certification in Quality Engineering (e.g., ASQ CQE) is a plus.
Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 (GD&T) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Promote and continuously reinforce a culture where safety and quality are paramount.
Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
Analyze product/service failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Provide direction to a team of Quality Technicians to meet daily incoming, in-process, and final inspection requirements.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to establish quality standards and specifications for new products/services.
Perform quality audits and assessments to evaluate adherence to quality procedures and guidelines.
Develop and maintain quality documentation, including test procedures, inspection reports, and quality manuals.
Participate in design reviews and provide input on product/service design for manufacturability and quality.
Train employees in quality standards, processes, and procedures.
Investigate customer complaints regarding quality issues and implement effective solutions.
Work with supply chain on the permanent corrective action and disposition of all purchased non-conforming material.
Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Stay current with industry trends, developments, and regulations related to quality management.
