The Oregon Public Defense Commission (OPDC) is seeking a detail oriented and collaborative QA/QC Data Analyst to join our Research and Data team. In this critical role, you will help ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the data that drives OPDC’s strategic contracting, policy development, and legislative advocacy efforts. Position: QA & QC Data Analyst (OPA2) This recruitment will be used to establish a list of qualified applicants to fill the current vacancy and may be used to fill future vacancies as they occur. This is a hybrid position requiring the selected candidate to work in the office three days/week. The research and data staff ensures that OPDC’s work is clearly understood by internal staff, state leaders, and public defense providers, and that agency decisions are grounded in equitable, evidence-based research. This position focuses on quality assurance and quality control for all data received and entered into agency databases. It monitors data entry, follows up with other sections to correct errors or incomplete information, and tracks progress to completion. The research and data team supports all program areas, providing analysis that guides agency decision-making. Additionally, the team leads data-sharing efforts across state agencies, courts, and partner organizations to improve equitable outcomes for vulnerable Oregonians.
