About The Position

We are seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead and scale our Quality Assurance function with a strong focus on test automation strategy and execution . The ideal candidate will be hands-on with modern automation frameworks—preferably Playwright —and capable of mentoring QA engineers while collaborating closely with offshore teams to ensure high-quality, scalable delivery.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3+ years in a QA leadership or manager role .
  • Strong hands-on experience in test automation setup and architecture .
  • Solid experience with Playwright (preferred); experience with Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Experience in guiding and mentoring QA teams, including junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Proven experience working with offshore or distributed teams .
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with teams across multiple geographies.
  • Experience in cloud-based applications and modern web architectures.
  • Knowledge of performance and security testing is a plus.
  • Background in JavaScript/TypeScript-based automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and own the overall QA strategy , including automation, manual testing, and release quality standards.
  • Design and set up QA automation frameworks from scratch or enhance existing ones, with a strong preference for Playwright .
  • Lead and mentor QA engineers, providing technical guidance, best practices, and career development support.
  • Establish QA processes, test standards, and metrics across projects.
  • Collaborate with offshore QA and development teams , ensuring clear communication, alignment, and execution.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Drive test coverage across UI, API, and regression testing.
  • Identify quality risks early and proactively work with stakeholders to mitigate them.
  • Review test plans, automation code, and defect reports to ensure high standards.
  • Act as the primary QA point of contact for stakeholders in the US time zone.
