About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven QA Lab Technician to support manufacturing operations in Miami, OK. This role plays a critical part in ensuring plastic products meet quality, safety, and performance standards across consumer, industrial, and government markets. The QA Lab Technician will perform inspections, laboratory testing, and documentation while supporting production teams and maintaining compliance with quality systems and safety requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required (technical or laboratory training preferred)
• Previous experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or laboratory testing within manufacturing preferred
• Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and inspection processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures
• Basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and documentation
• Ability to communicate effectively with production, engineering, and management teams
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to stand, walk, and move between lab and production areas throughout the shift
• Occasional lifting up to 40–50 lbs
• Exposure to manufacturing environments, including temperature variations and machinery noise
• Required use of PPE and adherence to all safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections, tests, and measurements on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
• Perform laboratory testing related to plastic molding, durability, strength, and dimensional accuracy
• Accurately document test results, inspection findings, and nonconformance reports
• Support production teams by identifying quality issues and assisting with root cause analysis
• Ensure testing procedures comply with quality standards, safety policies, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain calibration and proper use of lab equipment and testing instruments
• Assist with audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Promote a clean, organized, and safety-focused lab and production environment
