About The Position

This position is responsible for monitoring products and ensuring products have passed all critical control points while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Tyson Foods Hope Hatchery currently has a split-duty position available at our Hatchery facility. These duties include but are not limited to the following. Purpose & Objectives: To perform QA responsibilities and Sanitation responsibilities.

Requirements

Must be willing to maintain standard job performance to continue effectively and efficiently with a consistent flow of product.
Must be willing to stand and work in a stationary position throughout an 8–9-hour shift.
Must be willing to assist and perform candling and breakouts on every individual flock that is set
Must be willing to perform chick counts to ensure numbers are correct
Must be willing to perform quality checks on incoming eggs
Must be willing to perform crossbar monitoring checks
Must be willing to perform machine checks to ensure efficient operation
Must be willing to perform pre-hatch counts
Use simple computer programs to record data collected
Must be willing to aid and assist leads and learn all duties of the hatchery including the lead position
Must be willing to perform all duties as assigned by management
Must be willing to lift to 100 lbs.
