The role also involves machine setup, which includes loading tools and dies specific to job requirements, and machine operation, where the inspector monitors and operates machinery to punch holes or shapes in copper and aluminum bars, ensuring quality standards are met. Quality control is a critical aspect, involving the inspection of finished parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications, including basic blueprint reading, first-off inspections, and in-process inspections. The position requires a strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
