This position will compile data to help evaluate trends, promote compliance, and identify best practices for the Division of Child and Adult Protection. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB:Under limited supervision, the Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist provides analytical and technical skills to deliver thorough and comprehensive reviews of child and adult protection case files that require the resolution of compliance problems and ensures the integrity of practice and procedures. This position will use compiled data to help evaluate trends, promote compliance, and identify best practices for the department. As a neutral party, this position will facilitate reviews, gather and analyze data, and provide reports on the quality of work being completed, in order to effect change in practice, policy, and programs that lead to improved outcomes for families and ensure the integrity of the work being completed within Child and Adult Protection Services (CAPS). This position will support and assist the Director in achieving the Human Services core mission of breaking the generational cycle of poverty, preventing neglect and abuse, and building strong communities. The utilization of a two-generation (2Gen) approach is the guiding philosophy and model for the work of the Department.
