About The Position

The QA Clerk is responsible for the gathering, compilation, and data entry of Quality Assurance measures.

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma/ or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year food manufacturing experience required.
• Must be able to have a flexible schedule, work weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated.
• Sound work ethic, honesty, and moral character.
• Can perform basic mathematics.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Know how to effectively manage time to complete all assigned tasks.
• Be able to communicate effectively with other hourly employees, plant management, and USDA personnel.
• Knowledge of GMP’s.
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and compiling information for QA measures.
• Reviewing data for conformance with regulations and communicating compliance issues to appropriate staff.
• Generating and distributing reports.
• Data entry tasks.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
• Follow workplace safety rules, including PPE, preventing, and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, Lockout Tagout procedures and process safety management related matters.
